Welcome to Potter's Garden Services

We're a small and friendly team of dedicated horticultural professionals who provide a range of garden services to suit your needs. Since Potter's Garden Services was established in 2010, we have continued to grow, looking after many private and commercial properties. As a team, we are committed to delivering an excellent personal service to all our customers, where our success comes from building long-term partnerships based on trust.

Meet Our Team

Simon Potter, founder of Potter's Garden Services.

Simon Potter founded Potter's Garden Services in 2010. After many years working in commercial grounds maintenance, he gained a degree in Garden Design and Horticulture, and decided to branch off and build his own business.

By working with clients to create beautiful planting plans and by getting his hands dirty, Simon enjoys seeing the huge difference some care and preparation can make to a garden and, in turn, PGS's clients.

When he's not in a garden, Simon can be found with his girlfriend and their dog, or on a bike - Simon is a keen cyclist who hopes to cycle across the USA in a couple of years.

David Harris, gardener at Potter's Garden Services

David has been gardening professionally for 5 years and has been with PGS since the start of his career. He decided to pursue gardening because he loves being outside and comes from a farming background. David is currently working towards his RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture where he is particularly enjoying studying the make-up of plants.

In his spare time, David enjoys watching musicals with his fiancée, spending time with friends and watching sports.

Tom Whiteman, gardener at Potter's Garden Services

Tom joined the team this year after deciding to leave an office job to turn his love of gardening from a hobby to a career. Tom is also currently studying for his RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture. So far, he is enjoying learning about garden planning, establishment and maintenance.

He lives with his girlfriend and their cat, and his love of photography and the guitar brings an extra creative streak to the team.

Where do we work?

We operate largely along the M3 corridor in Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire from our base near Basingstoke.
